Alex Bobbi

Principal Lawyer

Alex Bobbi is a Principal Lawyer in Dobson Mitchell Allport’s Commercial & Property team, advising Tasmanian and national clients on complex commercial and property matters.

He works with business owners, developers, property owners, government bodies, not-for-profits and educational institutions, providing clear and commercially grounded advice to support decision-making. Alex is regularly involved in business sales and acquisitions, property transactions, leasing and development matters, and is often called on to resolve issues that arise during a transaction, including risk, title and financing matters.

 

Alex takes a direct and practical approach, focused on identifying the key issues and helping clients move forward with confidence. He is known for being responsive and hands-on, particularly where matters involve time pressure, multiple stakeholders or evolving issues.

 

He has advised on a range of significant projects, including multi-million dollar residential, commercial and agricultural developments and transactions, and is regularly involved in complex property and commercial arrangements.

 

Alex contributes to the profession through his involvement in industry and legal committees. He is a member of the Law Council of Australia’s National Electronic Conveyancing System Committee and the Law Society of Tasmania’s Property and Commercial Law Committee, and regularly presents on developments in commercial and property law.

 

Outside of work, Alex is a proud father of two young children. He enjoys gardening, bushwalking and spending time outdoors.
