Nic Duggan

Credit and Collections Manager

Effective debt recovery is about more than collecting an outstanding account.  I work with clients to understand their policies, priorities and relationships so we can pursue practical outcomes, including where financial hardship needs to be considered.

I am the Credit and Collections Manager at Dobson Mitchell Allport, working with both the practice and our clients to manage accounts and recover outstanding debts.

I work with a wide range of clients, with a particular focus on the education sector, where I support many schools with debt recovery.  My role includes recovering debts on behalf of clients and the practice, training staff, contributing to business improvement projects and working alongside the Directors on new initiatives.

I take the time to understand each client’s policies and priorities rather than approaching debt recovery as a one-size-fits-all process.  Where financial hardship is involved, I look for practical outcomes that also preserve positive relationships wherever possible.

I value clear communication and make sure clients remain informed throughout the process.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying Tasmania’s walking tracks.
