Matthew advises and represents clients across a wide range of insurance matters, with a particular focus on workers compensation and personal injury claims. He takes a measured and pragmatic approach to litigation, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients, and is experienced in dealing with more complex matters.

Matthew has experience appearing in the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Magistrates Court of Tasmania and the Supreme Court of Tasmania, and is regularly involved in litigation across these jurisdictions.

He is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association and sits on its Tasmanian committee. He has also assisted as a tribunal member for Basketball Tasmania.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys specialty coffee, gardening and is a fan of the Tasmania JackJumpers.
