She advises clients on a range of contentious and advisory matters, with a strong focus on employment and workplace relations disputes.  This includes matters such as unfair dismissal and general protections claims, workplace investigations, and award compliance issues, as well as related litigation and strategic advice.  Kaela also works across broader civil litigation, including contract claims, debt recovery, mortgage repossessions, local government issues and property disputes.

Kaela takes a collaborative and practical approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and risk appetite and translate complex issues into clear, commercially focused advice.  She is known for being responsive and strategic, providing advice that clients can confidently act on.

With a background in accounting as well as law, Kaela brings a commercially minded perspective to her work and a detail-oriented approach to managing matters effectively.

Outside of work, Kaela enjoys bringing people together and is often behind the practice’s social events.  She also enjoys Pilates and baking, and has a well-earned reputation for her competitive streak, particularly when it comes to staff bake-offs and morning teas.
