Fran works closely with clients to guide them through the estate administration process following the loss of a loved one. She understands that administering an estate can feel overwhelming, particularly during an already difficult time, and enjoys helping clients understand their responsibilities as an executor while making the process as straightforward as possible.

Known for her calm, organised and approachable nature, Fran takes pride in building genuine relationships with her clients. She believes that taking the time to answer questions, explain each step clearly and ensure clients feel heard can make a significant difference during what is often a challenging period in their lives.

In addition to estate administration, Fran assists our lawyers with the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Before joining Dobson Mitchell Allport, Fran spent more than 11 years working in the finance industry with superannuation funds and investment platforms. She also developed a strong understanding of the Centrelink system while assisting clients to navigate their entitlements. That experience has given her a valuable understanding of many of the financial matters that can arise during estate administration.

Outside of work, Fran enjoys travelling around Tasmania with her husband and their little Westie cross in their caravan. She also loves spending time in her craft room, where she enjoys getting creative and unwinding.
