He works with clients on a range of insurance-related matters, including workers compensation claims, Motor Accidents Insurance Board matters and disputes involving insurers.  Fawwaz provides clear, practical advice and takes a pragmatic approach to resolving issues, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.

Fawwaz brings valuable insight from his time as Associate to President Malcolm Schyvens at the Tasmanian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, where he assisted with hearings and the preparation of written reasons across both the Protective and General Divisions.  This experience has given him a strong understanding of tribunal processes and decision-making.

Prior to joining Dobson Mitchell Allport, Fawwaz practised in insurance litigation in Tasmania, further developing his experience in workers compensation matters.

Originally from Singapore, Fawwaz now calls Tasmania home.

Outside of work, he enjoys following Manchester United in the English Premier League and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL.
