Ebony Curtis is an Associate in Dobson Mitchell Allport’s Commercial & Property team, working across property, commercial and estate planning matters.

She advises clients on residential and commercial property transactions, business sales and purchases, leasing and licensing arrangements, and property-related disputes. Ebony also undertakes a significant amount of estate planning work and assists with estate administration.

Ebony provides clear, practical guidance and is known for her responsive and hands-on approach.  She takes the time to explain each step of a matter, so clients feel informed and supported, particularly where they are navigating a process for the first time.  She is also committed to making transactions run as smoothly as possible, taking a flexible and practical approach to working with clients.

In addition to her legal practice, Ebony brings experience in governance and strategic decision-making, having served as a director of a national not-for-profit organisation for many years.  She is accredited through the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has experience in not-for-profit governance, strategy development, stakeholder engagement and funding.

Outside of work, Ebony enjoys spending time with her husband and their young family and travelling when she can.
