He advises and represents clients in matters including debt recovery, contractual, property and construction disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy, employment issues and historical child sexual abuse claims. David provides clear, practical and commercially pragmatic advice, working with clients to achieve effective resolution of disputes, from early intervention through to litigation where required.
David has a strong interest in advocacy and regularly assists in representing clients across courts and tribunals. Prior to joining the practice, he worked as Associate to Deputy President Ellis at the Tasmanian Industrial Commission.
Outside of work, David is a passionate chorister and spends much of his time rehearsing and performing with various groups across Hobart. When not performing, he enjoys comedy and is a boardgame aficionado.
