My practice is in Dispute Resolution & Litigation, with a strong interest in advocacy and helping clients navigate difficult or uncertain situations.
My approach is calm and down-to-earth, with a focus on making the legal process easier to understand and helping clients find a practical way forward.
In my time with Dobson Mitchell Allport I first worked as a paralegal in the Family & Relationships team. After being admitted to practice as a lawyer I moved into the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team.
I have a particular interest in providing advice and representation to Non-Government Organisations who give support to Tasmanians in need.
For these organisations the assistance I can provide includes:
- Advice as to compliance with legislative obligations;
- Reviews of internal policies and procedures;
- Representation in court or tribunal proceedings; and
- Subpoenas and other requests for document disclosure.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading anything mysterious or fantastical, spending time with friends and family, or making the most of Tasmania’s beautiful beaches.
